Job Summary:   

As the Growth Manager and Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the entire Business Development and Lead Generation teams. You will set and execute strategic sales plans, meet monthly growth targets, and identify new market opportunities. Your role involves driving revenue growth while managing head count expansion, setting up strategic sales offices (notably in India), and ensuring seamless sales operations across multiple countries. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Sales Leadership:  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across multiple geographies. 

  • Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and head count goals. 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep strategies current. 

  • Provide actionable recommendations for hiring and team expansion based on evolving market needs. 

 

Team Management & Development:  

  • Lead and manage the Business Development and Lead Generation teams to achieve growth targets. 

  • Foster a high-performance sales culture through regular coaching, performance reviews, and strategic goal setting. 

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor sales talent; establish clear KPIs and metrics for success. 

Market Expansion & Office Establishment:  

  • Plan and execute the setup of a dedicated Sales Office in India and explore opportunities for establishing additional offices in key regions. 

  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to tailor strategies to local market nuances. 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and alignment with global business objectives. 

Sales Execution & Performance Monitoring:  

  • Own end-to-end sales process from lead generation to deal closure. 

  • Utilize CRM and sales analytics tools to track performance, forecast revenue, and report on key metrics. 

  • Implement sales methodologies that drive both short-term wins and long-term client relationships. 

Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment:  

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment in messaging and go-to-market strategies. 

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to product teams based on market needs and client interactions. 

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:  

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements. 

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase sales efficiency and client satisfaction. 

  • Lead initiatives to drive digital transformation and adoption of innovative sales technologies. 

Target Metrics 

Revenue Targets:  

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue growth benchmarks across all markets. 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue diversification. 

Head Count Targets:  

  • Build and scale the sales team by setting clear recruitment targets. 

  • Track team expansion progress and ensure recruitment aligns with strategic growth plans. 

Market Penetration & Expansion:  

  • Successful establishment of a Sales Office in India. 

  • Expansion into new regions with measurable market share growth. 

Lead Generation & Conversion:  

  • Increase quality lead generation through innovative strategies and effective team collaboration. 

  • Monitor and improve conversion rates from leads to closed deals. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Experience: 

  • Over 7 years of relevant sales and business development experience, preferably within the software, digital marketing, or staff augmentation sectors. 

  • Proven track record in a leadership role, managing diverse sales teams and achieving growth targets. 

Expertise: 

  • Deep understanding of global market dynamics, particularly across Australia, India, UK, UAE, and USA. 

  • Strong experience in establishing and scaling sales offices in new markets. 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional strategic planning and execution abilities. 

  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and people management skills. 

  • Proficiency in sales analytics, CRM platforms, and performance management tools. 

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently, make decisive recommendations, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred).
