Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications. You will have the option to work with Django/ NLP. In addition to your expertise in web development, you should possess a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs.

2. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Django, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

3. Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to enhance application performance and scalability.

4. Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.

5. Optimize application performance through profiling, code refactoring, and troubleshooting.

6. Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries.

7. Ensure the security and integrity of web applications by incorporating appropriate security measures and best practices.

8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to web development, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in their professional growth.

10. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any bugs or issues in a timely manner.

11. Study and transform data science prototypes

12. Design NLP applications

13. Select appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods

14. Use effective text representations to transform natural language into useful features

15. Find and implement the right algorithms and tools for NLP tasks

16. Develop NLP systems according to requirements

17. Train the developed model and run evaluation experiments

18. Perform statistical analysis of results and refine models

19. Extend ML libraries and frameworks to apply in NLP tasks

20. Remain updated in the rapidly changing field of machine learning

Qualifications and Skills required:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or similar field

2. Solid understanding of web development concepts and experience with Django.

3. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

4. Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and relevant frameworks such as Django.

5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

6. Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB) and query optimization techniques.

7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

8. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet project deadlines.

10. Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or similar role

11. Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modeling

12. Ability to effectively design software architecture

13. Deep understanding of text representation techniques (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis etc.), statistics and classification algorithm.

14. Knowledge of Python, Java and R

15. Ability to write robust and testable code

16. Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)

17. Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft AZURE preferably).
