We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications using Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js (or similar Node.js frameworks). Knowledge of GraphQL and Redis is optional but would be a plus. In addition, you should have a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js (or similar Node.js frameworks).

  • Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize application performance and scalability.

  • Integrate with external services and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.

  • Optimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies, and performance tuning.

  • Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of backend applications by implementing appropriate security measures and best practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to backend development, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

  • Develop APIs using RestAPI principles and GraphQL to enhance data retrieval and manipulation capabilities.

  • Implement caching using Redis for improved application performance.

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of backend development concepts, with experience in Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js (or similar Node.js frameworks).

  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.

  • Familiarity with GraphQL and Redis is a plus.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js development.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB) and query optimization techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet project deadlines.

Location of Applicants: Bangalore, Madurai, Trichy, and Hosur (Remote and Hybrid work)
